Hyscience has an excellent points in Even after all the smears, why do we still love Sarah Palin? While there are plenty of good reasons listed around the web it still does not have mine; Living life with forgiveness of others weaknesses, with a religious zeal to do what is truthfully the right thing. and all with faith that in the end the truth is what matters. An unwillingness to be turned away or moved by the lies of those who would stand against her and a understanding that she can not control what other people say.
Christians who have spoken the truth during this election cycle have been accused of being bigots and hypocrites. Maybe there is also a kinship in the struggle. She is a person who has stood to the attacks which have been thrown against Christians in general.

Obama Ad Goes To War With Abortion Survivor - With Video
An Interview of an Abortion Surviver
"Therefore, as we have opportunity,
let us do good to all people,
especially to those who belong to the family of believers."

Galatians 6:10,
Tha java report may have scooped the October surprise of Obama's PR firm. A video, (attempts to link Palin with Alaska Independence Party), posted on youtube by eswinner (Ethan Winner of the Publicis Group?), looks like it is intended to look like an amateur video, but has the same voice over narrator as Obama approved ads. This same voice-over artist has worked extensively with David Axelrod's firm, which has a history of engaging in phony grassroots efforts, otherwise known as "astroturfing." David Axelrod is Barack Obama's chief media strategy
When the phony grassroots video was discovered it was quickly pulled. Attacking on Alaska Independence Party to make Palin look like a radical, look more like an Obama, would only server to place questions in those who still love Sarah Palin and consider her one of us. Such questions may cause some people to feel apathetic and not vote.
It appears the intent was to run an ad in October and reference other sources (like a style often used in these posts with the blogscan - I assure you I did not write those other posts in the blogscan), or plant a seed so the ad can trigger a "I think I heard something about that" type of reaction.

- Jawa Report Traces Palin Smears To Obama Camp - Updated
To coin a phrase, when Obama said “the gloves were coming off” he clearly meant that the dirty tricks ’sock puppets’ (people who pretend to be other than they are on blogs and websites in order to post fake and fradulent information) were going on. And he and his campaign just got caught with their hands in the sock puppets.

- Captured Screenshots Prove Java Reports Allegations Triggered Scrubbing of 'eswinners' anti Palin-McCain astroturfing/viral marketing videos on his smear site
When he first learned about the likelihood of Winner being involved with Axelrod's viral marketing campaign against Sarah Palin and John McCain, and as news was beginning to emerge that Winner and Axelrod were being caught with their hands all over the sleaze campaign, a Hyscience editor figured eswinner would delete his youtube account, so he captured the attached images last night.

- Astroturf Smears with ties to Obama
This seems to have the smell of three day old fish and the fingerprints of Captain Combover (David Axelrod) all over it! Jawa has another video comparing the voice on this “amateur” video with one of Obama’s ads:

Here is more audio and video evidence that the same woman who voiced an approved Barack Obama commercial also voiced the commercial in question.

- Bloggers sniff out anti-Palin astroturf campaign– and the cover up begins
This suggests that false rumors and outright lies about Sarah Palin and John McCain being spread on the internet are being orchestrated by political partisans and are not an organic grassroots phenomenon led by the left wing fringe.

Will there be an investigation into this? Will someone in the mainstream media take the work of the Jawas and take it even further?
As far as I'm concerned, if it isn't followed up in the mainstream media, then I'll take that as affirmation that every single thing Rusty and crew allege is not only 100% accurate, but their speculations are also true.

- Obama Astroturf
A supposedly amateur "grassroots" YouTube ad smearing Republican vice presidential nominee with a series of false charges turns out to have been created by a top PR professional with ties to Barack Obama's campaign, and given the amount of time and the number of professionals involved, the campaign probably paid for it, and then worked the far-left fringes of the blogosphere to spread the smear online - thuggish southside Chicago politics adapted to the web.

- Corporate sockpuppetry for Team Obama?
Rusty Shackleford has done extensive research into the efforts to smear Sarah Palin as a member of a secessionist party, when in fact she has been a lifelong Republican. Videos that appeared on YouTube supporting this smear have been tracked — circumstantially, but substantially — to the CEO of a public-relations firm, strongly suggesting that the smear campaign did not arise organically as an outgrowth of Palinmania but had financing, planning, and intent. Who would have had the means for such a campaign? I’ll get back to that in a minute.

- Obama's Astroturf?
The goal apparently was to get the netroots to email the video to 10 other people each, making the lie grow into a story and into the media. Upon being tipped off yesterday by the Jawa Report itself that it was hot on the trail, the video was quickly yanked and related e-mail accounts closed. As Jawa Report asks, why would a true independent amateur do this on the verge of his moment of Internet glory?
If found to be a professional effort, it would be a violation of campaign finance laws. Oh, and the "known to be false" allegation means this could be litigated as a libel action in court by Sarah Palin, if she so chooses, even though she is a public figure.

David Axelrod has long been known for his political magic. Through his AKP&D Message & Media consultancy, the campaign veteran has advised a succession of Democratic candidates since 1985, and he's now chief strategist for Senator Barack Obama's bid for President. But on the down low, Axelrod moonlights in the private sector.
From the same River North address, Axelrod operates a second business, ASK Public Strategies, that discreetly plots strategy and advertising campaigns for corporate clients to tilt public opinion their way. He and his partners consider virtually everything about ASK to be top secret, from its client roster and revenue to even the number of its employees. But customers and public records confirm that it has quarterbacked campaigns for the Chicago Children's Museum, ComEd, Cablevision, and AT&T.
