Some of the reason's for this ad may be the honeymoon Obama has enjoyed with the press, his world tour, and a presumptive title of "President Elect."
Late in the day, Obama dismissed his rival’s tactics as “frivolous and desperate.” ... “They’re calling folks names like they used to do in fifth grade. You remember fifth grade? Calling each other names and petty fights. We don’t have time for that. That doesn’t lower gas prices and secure people’s jobs.”
Despite the sound byte, of Obama saying he wants to talk about the issues, Obama is resisting a townhall type debate. Instead his choice was to show him self as a world leader by taking a world tour. Trying to pin him down on issues for the McCain vs Obama posts bloggers are forced to use his blog and not his statements to the press which keep changing.
